Include: a custom manufactured, perfectly sized, straight-walled glass jar with a thoughtfully designed lid that keeps contaminants out but lets air in; a rubber o-ring to mark your starters pre-expansion level after feeds, and a silicone spatula to mix starter and clean the jar sides. Then it wouldnt be complete without our own hearty strain of Dry Sourdough Starterwith instructions on how to prepare it for baking.

The jar volume is 700 ml, which is a tad shy of 3 cups.
